Beautiful fruit bearing shrubs, Pomegranates are widely grown in Central Asia and the Middle East. Pomegranates are also grown commercially and in backyards in California and the South. Pomegranates produce beautiful bright red flowers throughout the summer, followed by flavorful, orange-red fruit. Our new Haku-botan variety has white flowers and fruit. Despite flowering profusely, our Pomegranates, except Dwarf, are reluctant to set fruit at our nursery. We are still investigating this problem, although we have reports of successful fruiting from others in the Northwest.
