An attractive and valuable nut tree, Heartnut features long, tropical-looking foliage and tasty, heart-shaped nuts. Heartnuts crack easily into whole and half pieces, and with their mild flavor, some compare them to cashews. Heartnut trees will grow slowly to 30 ft. in height and can begin bearing nuts when only 4-5 years old old. Seedling HEartnuts can bear nuts of various shapes.
