We are growing this uncommon and valuable species from seeds we received from our friends in Vladivostok, Russia. A beautiful tree with whorls of dark green needles, this very hardy Pine is an attractive and stately specimen tree planted singly or in groups. Its large and tasty pine nuts are gathered in large amounts and are greatly prized for their rich flavor and nutritional value. Korean Stone Pine is hardy to approx. minus 40°F.

Pollination: All of our Pines should be self-fertile.

Pests & Diseases: Pests such as aphids and mites may attack pines, but healthy trees are not seriously affected by them. Our Pines should not be bothered by any diseases.
