SHIPPING YOUR PLANTS

Our shipping season for fruit trees and other bare-root plants is from February to early June. Containerized plants can be shipped year-round weather permitting. You may specify the approximate date you would like to receive your plants and we will do our best to get your order to you on the date desired. If you do not specify a date, we will ship your plants to arrive at the best planting time for your area.

Be sure to give us a street address, as most orders cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box. We store our bare-root plants under refrigeration so, regardless of where you live, you will receive them in optimum condition, dormant and ready to grow.

Shipping Schedule

AIR SHIPPING
Air shipping by USPS Priority Mail is available to all regions, year-around, weather permitting. While more expensive than ground shipping, you will be pleased at how fresh and happy your plants will be upon arrival.

GROUND SHIPPING
Surface transport saves money, but plants can only be sent out when they won't be frozen or get too hot en route. We have determined that the following schedule works well for surface shipping in the continental US.

West of the Cascade Mountains
(Western Oregon, Washington & California)
Ground shipping is available year-around, weather permitting. Air shipping is available at all times.

East of the Cascade Mountains/West of the Rockies
Ground shipping is available from April 1st to early June. Air shipping is available at all times.

East of the Rocky Mountains
Ground shipping is available from April 1st to early May, before weather becomes too hot en-route. Air shipping is available at all times.

Alaska & Hawaii
Because of long transit times by land or sea, air shipping is the only method available for shipment to your locations. Orders can be shipped year-around, weather permitting.

If your order totals $61 - $90.99 Add: $20.95

If your order totals over $140 Add: 15% of order total

Air Shipping
40% of order total (min. $25.00)
Required for Alaska and Hawaii and may also be required for shipments east of the Rocky Mts. after May 1st.

Pick up your plants in Portland and other locations and save time, energy & money!

The PlantMobile is coming to Portland every Saturday from Feb. 5 to May 28. We'll bring your plant order to Concentrates at 2613 SE 8th Avenue, between Powell and Division. We'll also have a great selection of our most popular varieties for sale. Pick up your order between 10AM and 1PM and while you're there, check out Concentrates' great selection of soil amendments, organic fertilizers and animal feed.

PICK UP YOUR PLANTS AT THE NURSERY
Our Nursery store is open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays from January 7 to May 21, 2011, and on every second Saturday of the month the rest of the year. Please note that we are closed on Sundays. Although we do not have a large plant display yard, you can speak with one of our knowledgeable staff members and take home great plants for your garden or farm.
