Very popular throughout the world, they are prized for their dark green, tropical-looking foliage, their yellow, orange, and scarlet fall color, and their striking, large, delicious, bright orange fruits which adorn the tree until well after the leaves are gone. Easy to grow trees, Persimmons are not bothered by pests or diseases. For colder climates, choose American Persimmon varieties which are hardy to minus 25°F.
